Scenic Naramata Bench Vineyards

9:30 am to 5 pm

The  scenic Naramata Bench is a place of great beauty and character, with many boutique-style wineries strung along these narrow and bucolic benchlands such as LaFrenz,Laughingstock, Ruby Blues, Poplar Grove Estate Wineriesand several more. The lake’s capacity to store warmth and reflect light onto the vines makes this sandy loam bench one of the Okanagan’s best vineyard locations. Grapes grown here have a long frost-free autumn in which to mature. Our guests enjoy a vineyard lunch stop at the Vanilla Pod Restaurant* onsite at Poplar Grove – a truly remarkable setting

Naramata Bench wine country is a must visit destinationfor wine connoisseurs and those seeking vistas of unparalleled beauty. We look forward to welcoming you to the unique warmth of the Naramata Bench.

What our clients are saying

We had a perfect day visiting wineries thanks to the awesome folks at Okanagan Wine Country Tours. From the booking process to the day of the tour, they were all very professional and very accommodating. Though we started with their suggestion for how the day would proceed, we quickly made changes to meet our tastes. We even did a side trip to a local distillery!

My wife and I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a fabulous day visiting wineries.

Jon, Oakville, Ontario Review from TripAdvisor

The highlight of our recent visit to the Okanagan Valley of B.C. Canada was a private winery tour as conducted by the “OKANAGAN WINE COUNTRY TOURS” organization. Our guide, driver and wine enthusiast was a delightful gal, she was extremely professional, knowledgeable of both the wine industry and the local area and possessed a sparkling personality.
She met us at our resort, promptly at the appointment time, the vehicle was a big, comfortable and immaculate SUV and for the next 5 hours we enjoyed a wine experience that we will share with all or our friends here in Colorado.
We visited 5 wineries along the Eastern shores of Lake Okanagan, each one delightfully unique with respect to its wine style/specialty and the setting of the winery property, all featuring stunning lake views … we were treated as very special guests.
We look forward to our return to the area, the next time with friends from Colorado, and to another tour with Okanagan Wine Country Tours.

Where did the tradition of clinking wine glasses come from?
It is a tradition from the Middle Ages when the original intention was to produce a sound like a church bell to banish the devil.
